A Shoppers Paradise...
Shopping is what it's all about here with some fantastic bargains to be had. However, don't be swept away by it all and be as savvy here as you would be back home - know what is and isn't a bargain. Remember to add the sales tax to the ticket price.
The Malls are home to some good retail stores but, just like home, can get very busy at weekends so go mid-week if you can. Most malls are open from 9am until 9-10pm and around noon until 6pm on Sundays.
The outlet centres have great designer bargains but take your judgment with you - just because it's in a large outlet doesn't mean it's cheaper than back home.

There are several good shopping areas and below are just a few. If you visit the various websites there are discount coupons you can print to take with you giving you even more savings. Some of the centres also run free shuttles from various points near the villa.
Belz Factory Outlet Belz factory Outlet Centre
Over 750,000 square feet of shops with around 170 famous brand names
Belz Designer Outlet Belz Designer Outlet Centre
Here you can save lots in over 40 designer stores
Festival Bay Festival Bay
Geared up more to one of a kind shops rather than the designer and large name stores. Restaurants here too including the highly recommended Dixie Crossroads.
Florida Mall Florida Mall
With over 250 stores and very popular with locals.
Lake Buena Vista Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores
A selection of shops and designer outlets. They also offer a free shuttle from several hotels near the villa - see their web site for full details.
Milennia Mall Mall at Millenia
A great centre with a good selection of retailers including Bloomingdales and Macy's
Orlando Premium Outlet Orlando Premium Outlets
is a Mediterranean style village with a good collection of designer labels.

Flea Markets
There are three Flea Markets along the US-192 highway within easy reach of our home - great for a wander round and plenty of stalls in each one to browse around:
VISITORS FLEA MARKETS has over 250 kiosks and is located at Mile Marker 9
MAINGATE FLEAMARKET is fully air-conditioned indoor market with over 400 booths located at Mile Marker 9
192 FLEA MARKET has over 400 booths and is located at Mile Marker 15
SANFORD FLEA WORLDS is America's largest flea market with over 1700 vendors and is located on Hwy 17/92 in Sanford.

Shopping Areas
KISSIMMEE is lined with plenty of stores that sell all sorts and 3-for-$10 t-shirt deals. Quantity rather than quality but great for souvenirs.
INTERNATIONAL DRIVE is the tourist strip of Orlando lined with shops, restaurants and a variety of entertainment attractions.
DOWNTOWN DISNEY has the Westside, Market Place and Pleasure Island all offering Disney stores, Lego Centre, Virgin Megastore and Once Upon a Toy to name a few.
CELEBRATION is a pleasant town with a selection of shops down on Market Street and a couple of galleries. They can be a little more expensive than the the major stores but it's well worth a look at this lovely township that reminds you of The Truman Show.
