Discovery Cove is an exclusive day out anyway and limits it's visitors to just 1000 a day so there are no queues here and you really are away from the hustle and bustle. However, for those wanting more, you could be a trainer for the day and go behind the scenes with the staff, interact with all the animals and discover how they are trained and cared for - a unique programme available to a few each day. You could also try a night at Discover Cove with their Dolphin Lover’s Sleepover - drift off to sleep in cozy tents right on the beach by the lagoon and dolphins. The package includes dinner, breakfast and lunch, a whole day at Discovery Cove with the dolphin swim, and an evening activities designed for children and parents. Keys to the Kingdom

MAGIC KINGDOM
Disney offers a variety of tours and one is 'Keys to the Kingdom' which is a five hour tour of the Magic Kingdom where you can experience behind the scenes activities and learn the secrets of the Magic Kingdom. The cost is $60 extra and admission to the park must also be purchased.

There is also the Disney Family Tour which is a 2 hour 'scavenger adventure-tour' around the park and costs an extra $27 per person.

To see it all, there's the Backstage Magic Tour which takes you behind the scenes of Epcot, Magic Kingdom and MGM Studios on a 7-hour tour of all three parks and gives you a rare insight into what makes the magic. $199 16's and under must be accompanied by an adult.

EPCOT
If you fancy seeing behind the scenes of the Living Seas Pavilion at Epcot and meeting the dolphins then the Dolphins in Depth tour is for you. It take you up close and personal with these highly intelligent creatures. $150 per person for a 3 hour tour. Dolphins in Depth Tour
For anyone with a scuba diving certificate, you could join the Dive Quest on a 2½-hour behind-the-scenes tour of the 6 million gallon Living Seas Aquarium. Dive amongst the 65 species of marine life including sharks and huge sea turtles. $140 minimum age 10. Dive Quest
For those who want to see the world, a Morning Around the World is available - not only do you get to see all of WorldShowcase, you also get to ride on the innovative two-wheeled Segway Human Transporter which can reach speeds of 20mph. SEA WORLD
The Sharks Deep Sea Dive is possibly one of the most thrilling experiences available. It includes the chance to submerge in a specially designed cage into the huge shark aquarium gliding the full 125ft length of the aquarium with these magnificent creatures. There is also a full induction into the world of sharks and takes around 2 hours in total. No scuba diving certificate needed. It costs $150 per person and the minimum age is 10. The Marina Mammal Keeper Experience is a full day intensive tour behind the scenes showing exactly how much care is needed to care for the marine life of SeaWorld. You can bottle feed them and go behind the scenes with the seals, walruses and beluga wales, helping to prepare meals. With lunch at the Sharks Grill, lots of souvenirs and memorabilia and a seven day pass to SeaWorld, the package costs $399 per person. Marine Mammal Experience
The Beluga Interactive Programme gives you the unique opportunity of being able to swim with the magnificent beluga whale, learn about their habitat and touch, feed and interact with them using hand signals. $179 per person, minimum age 13. Beluga Interaction

Richard Petty Experience

RICHARD PETTY EXPERIENCE
Disney has joined forces with American racing star Richard Petty to create this thrilling experience located just before the parking entrance to the Magic Kingdom. You can try one of their 650-bhp stock cars on the 1.8-mile circuit as either driver or passenger reaching speeds of up to 145mph. There are several levels of participation programmes available ranging from $99 for a three lap ride experience right through to the Experience of a Lifetime Programme which includes intense training and 30 laps at $1250 per person. Admittance is free so you can go along just to watch.

Lunch with an astronaut

KENNEDY SPACE CENTRE
Lunch with one of the few genuine astronauts in NASA is a great way to learn all about the adventure of space travel. A buffet style lunch for a small group of guests includes a question and answer session and you can personally chat with one of the few who can share the excitement of space exploration and discover the personal experiences of the astronauts.

Alternatively for a more in-depth experience you can take part in the Astronaut Training Programme and learn exactly what procedures the astronauts have to endure go to prepare for a mission.
